The Happy Café is situated on the main road in the centre of Senggigi Plaza so it is very easy to get to compared to some isolated beach bars. This has made the Happy Café a very popular bar with expats and locals alike. It is certainly the liveliest place in the whole of Senggigi as the town is low key and tranquil during the day.
Most of the entertainment is a result of the in-house live band who play music every night of the week. They are a group of talented musicians and tend to play reggae, pop or rock and blues. They also take requests from the audience, mainly covers of 80s and 90s hits. This makes it the best place to go if you fancy having a dance or a night out with friends.
The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, especially if you are new to the area and trying to find your feet. The staff are also friendly even when they are completely rushed off their feet by large groups coming to see the band play.
